  • MoMo Amsterdam_The (X,Y) in Mobile

    話說昨天(1/21)與吉歐老闆娘殺去阿姆斯特丹參加Mobile Monday Amsterdam[註]
    所舉辦的小型座談
    這次主題是”The (X,Y) in Mobile” 想當然爾是跟location-based service有關
    一開始是Location cases分享 採用類似Pecha Kucha方式 -
    5(組)X5分鐘(簡報)X5分鐘(Q&A)
    分別是Bliin, Trackr, Ex Machina, Roomware Project, Yomedia
    雖然講者以荷文發表 不過簡報是英文 所以大致能理解內容
    接著是Panel discussion 邀請業界人士座談(好在從這邊開始就是英文了)
    包括Nokia Gate 5, TomTom, KPN, WebAds
    主要談及行動廣告模式 以及Nokia收購NAVTEQ以及與Facebook合作等時事
    有趣的是 在舞台後方有所謂back channel
    開放現場來賓用手機SMS或無線上網即時發問或兔槽搞笑 也算是種互動

    接下來的keynote是本日壓軸 由體驗經濟時代(Experience Economy)作者之一 Joseph Pine II所主講的”Technology & Media in the Experience Economy”
    一開頭先簡要說明the progression of Economic value
    基本上就是市場如何演進到當下的體驗經濟時代
    接著提到authenticity概念(同時也在JP新作中談及)
    以及Dramatic structure & technology (How you make experience and engagement)
    然後是正題–Media & Experience
    談到Key media發展 從Real world->book….PC->Mobile->Virtual world
    The Matrix說明 Transmedia Storytelling概念 (from Henry Jenkins)
    接著用簡單的三軸架構(trinity)-Time, Space and Matter(時間/空間/物質)
    來概括 解釋physical與virtual交雜的多重時空(Multiverse) 計有8種:

    - Virtual World (No Time-No Space-No Matter) ex: Second life, Habbo hotel
    - Augmented Reality (Time-Space-No Matter) ex: US Military, The Symphony experience, GPS navigator
    - Augmented Virtuality (Time-No Space-Matter) ex: Wii, DDR跳舞墊, 投影眼鏡
    - Warped Reality (No Time-Space-Matter) ex: Tour Coupes
    - Mirror World (Time-No Space-No Matter)
    - Alternate Reality (No Time-Space-No Matter) ex: XBOX, HALO 2, I love Bees
    - Physical Virtuality (No Time-No Space-Matter) ex: Fabjectory

    基本上體驗經濟是說明”互動是門好生意”的絕佳理論
    這架構簡潔有力 作為研究出發點 或是實務上溝通都不錯用~

  • The 2008 Mobile User Experience Manifesto

    Just go through “the 2008 Mobile User Experience Manifesto” in the “MEX: The PMN Mobile User Experience Conference” website. Totally ten statements are mentioned and explained in this intriguing and inspiring article.
    Here I quote some of these headlines which are related to my current research proposal or strongly inspire me.

    MobileHCI 2008今年9/2-5在阿姆斯特丹舉行
    目前還沒啥具體內容(首頁動畫倒挺好玩)
    不過既然說要”積極參與” 得也準備開始回收加工事宜
    有興趣的朋友們也可以開跑囉:)
