Hello Hello! Sorry for not uploading anything for a while.
I am back in Taiwan and had been working on my new book for a month and half now.
The Chinese version will be out in Aug for the comic con here.
And will be available in English for BICS and MCM in Oct in UK.

This is a little book about two sheep and their adventure, involving a lot of strange religions!
Please looking forward to it, I know I do!

喔啦~捲筒已經快兩個月沒更新啦~~~
不過是因為這一個半月都在台南萬歲宮製作新刊
會在八月七號八號的CWT首賣(台大體育館)
是歡樂的羊群宗教本
兩隻可愛的羊一路冒險遇上奇怪宗教的故事~
還在努力製作中

Hello! Back from MCM Expo again!

呼呼呼前兩天又去了MCM Expo，其實捲貓很害羞怕生自閉
但是說來也參加這個活動第四次了，將近一年半的時間
現在有更多比較熟的朋友了真開心～
阿先貼一些圖～上面是週五去場佈時拍的，後面那顆頭是阿湯～

I was behind my table almost all the time…but!

我基本上都卡在攤位內，不過
朋友Moa很專業的拍了很多照片，請大家去看看^^
(我的感想是…說到cosplay，西方人要做出爆乳效果真是一般來說容易得多XD)

就這樣結束了愉快的兩天

I am back from Lake District, Baaaaa!
Will go to Bristol SPX tomorrow, but I forgot to buy the ticket, Baaaaa!
So probably will wandering around the city.
And my stuff will be at Tom McNally’s Semiotic Cohision table, oh yeah!
Now it’s sleep time….
湖區旅行歸來~拍了大量的羊，這邊先來一隻
明天去 Bristol SPX
不過我人不會在會場，只會在外面遊玩XD，阿湯負責賣書（他有抽成所以沒有很可憐～XD)

I was in the UniCon 24th of April!
It’s part of the event of UniComics Festival held in the University of Hertfordshire. It’s at the north of London.

I went there by train and didn’t got eaten by tigers.
It’s a nice warm Spring Saturday.

The venue for the con is on a long hall way with a lot of national flags.
I shared the table with Paul Fryer.
It’s a lovely event with all kinds of programs and friendly comic fellows
I spent time chatting with Paul and Claude and eating nice breakfast fry up and drinking pear beer in the Uni pub. XD!

Then I went to the train with Claude and Jenika, and didn’t got eaten by tigers, which is very nice!

Oh oh for the comics!

上上週六去了新的漫畫展 UniComics Festival
顧名思義就是在 Uni 大學裡舉辦的 Comics Festival 漫畫活動
不過雖然在大學裡辦，講座和販售會的內容並不會和一般的差多少
只能說「漫畫與教育的關係探討」這部份有比較多一點
活動包括探討英國漫畫出版的走向
個別漫畫家講座等等

然後在這個四天的活動之中
星期六的 UniCon 是獨立漫畫來展出和販賣
這次我和保羅先生分享桌子

保羅先生在動畫公司上班，作flash
空閑之餘就埋頭畫漫畫，是個友善的好人
阿湯這次忙著畫漫畫忘了回信～所以他沒桌子花哈哈哈（好壞）

英國的獨立漫畫界（不透過出版社自己出版）
其實很不大
目前問過的人之中沒有任何一個可以靠單賣漫畫維生的
大家都有另外的工作，不然就還是學生

直接拿數字出來看
如果一天可以賣總數超過五十本就已經是非常好了

會這樣大概有一部分是這邊二次創作是違法的
所以雖然或許應該也有人想要做二次創作類的漫畫
但是環境上不被允許

而很實際的
二次創作或許是帶來人潮很有力的一種方式
作為全原創的這個社群
花在推廣作品培養自己的讀者群上
會更費心力
雖然如此，我這兩年看下來，這個社群是在向上成長的
所以我仍然非常期待^^

另外，這邊的有趣之處是互相哈拉喝酒（我都喝汽水XD)，
聽到很多有趣的事
和人的交流比會場賣書還更有趣些

此外可以一起做些奇妙的合作
目前我和阿湯有計畫要合出漫畫
(偷偷說，會有熊和鳥和青蛙和貓的腳色）
也有英國人後來跟日本人合作的實例
英國和歐洲其他地方以及米國加拿大也慢慢有接觸
所以因此去其他國家參展也是很常有的事
像去年我和阿湯硬要自己跑去瑞典和義大利就是這樣的:P

所以就生活體驗來說，我覺得是我人生中很美好的一段
不過就銷售來說我覺得是賣書來換旅費和快樂比較多些 XD

說到UniCon，那天保羅先生很嗨地說
「因為聽起來像是 UniCorn 獨角獸所以很興奮!!」
其實我也是～～～XD不知道在嗨什麼

販售會本身不太
不過這次結束之後的喝酒時間頂快樂的
喝了超甜的水梨啤酒
後來和怕被老虎吃掉的克勞德先生和喜歡吸血鬼的義大利小姐一起坐火車回家
可喜可賀～

最近機緣巧合
在 Sunday Up Market 跟新朋友阿貴借了個小角落寄賣
五月份這幾週週日中午過後捲貓都會在那邊

阿貴是馬來西亞華人，是個可愛的男生
照片裡的衣服都是他手工作的喔

回到市集生活還是蠻有趣的
每週買三條一磅的小黃瓜和60P的起士蛋糕
看街頭表演和朋友聊天很開心

但是不得不說
在市集
堅持理想需要很多勇氣
獨立創作者人生很刺激 ^_^

Sunday Up 新開發的攤位區一天攤位費 60 磅
如果一天營業額不到 100 以上等於作白工
有生活壓力的人很難持續下去
也就難怪越來越多的人是專業批貨人來市場賣的

對很多人來說
市集都是一個過渡時期和嘗試的過程
前仆後繼，常去逛逛
就一直可以在一堆無趣的東西中發現有趣的新攤

這就是市集

Hello!

I’ve been swimming on the internet and in the real life and in my dreams for two weeks, and that is the reason I didn’t update my blog.

But the mice in the T-shirt bite me in the midnight. They told me about the UniComics Festival on 24th of April and they think it is now a good time to walk along the river, it’s not related to the comic con, they added.

So, I will be in the new and wonderful event in the name of UniComics Festival tomorrow. Thanks to my kind comic fellow Paul Fryer(he has got new comic for this event,go check out!) offered to share his table with me, I will be on the train, to the University of Hertfordshire, and sell comics! Also I will be in the panel “Why Comics” to tell you about my life with comics and manga.

And for the T-shirt mouse, they say they are making a size chart, so that you guys can get the T-shirt in human size. That will come soon, before all the petals on the cherry trees falling away.

My friend Tom McNally, who is also a deligent comic artist,

Hello大家好^^
告別了市集很久之後，這兩週捲貓終於要重出江湖啦。
Well，雖然是這樣說，但其實是我朋友阿湯在擺攤，我只要出書給他就好…XD

這次我們會在 Croydon 新的市集 Stuff Market 試擺兩週。

會是歡樂的全漫畫攤。除了我之外還有阿湯，喜歡畫獾的Howard，畫風很可愛的Lizz，本人非常搞笑的 Claude。

所以如果你人在倫敦，可以去這個小鎮來個一日遊，順便拜訪阿湯一下喔^^

I am at the storyboard stage now and hopefully they will say “Meow” to you guys soon enough! (Hopefully in May!)

我覺得我的人生有貓陪伴的時候，是很幸福的…

捲貓即將推出線上貓漫畫啦！！

主要角色就是這三隻貓。

目前在腳本階段，希望累積到一個程度再上線
希望是在五月的時候開始～啡啡^^

(不過七月還是會出新刊滴，據萬歲截稿營消息，即將在六月前裝上抗暑裝備冷氣機乙台，這麼感心，怎麼可以不涕淚縱橫到拿襪子來擦眼淚呢？～～～～）
